Created and led by Asif Aziz, Criterion Capital is a pioneering, hands on asset manager working in close partnership with its clients. Since its inception, Criterion Capital has acquired and added value to some of Central London’s most iconic buildings including:

  • the London Trocadero, the London Pavilion and the Criterion Buildings in London’s Piccadilly Circus
  • the flagship Odeon Cinema Leicester Square which is well known for its Royal Film Performance and movie premieres
  • Burberry’s landmark store in Knightsbridge

 

Over the last 15 years, we have become the largest landlord in London’s busy Piccadilly Circus – Leicester Square corridor. Working closely with long term lenders including insurance companies, Criterion Capital has organised financing at fixed interest rates for up to 50 years, helping to preserve wealth and generate free cashflow.

 

Criterion Capital project manages development opportunities including:

  • 6 hotels in Central London comprising 662 rooms with 4 Hotels under construction providing a further 1,755 rooms
  • 8 residential blocks developed in suburban London comprising 1,367 low cost flats for rent
  • 5 apart-hotel schemes in the planning process to provide over 3000 apart-hotel units
